A Bit About Your Designer

Creativity has been ingrained into my DNA from an early age, from both of my grandfathers. One enjoyed drawing, sketching and painting, while the other was skilled in drawing and drafting. Both encouraged me by giving me supplies and tools to experiment with.

Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia (hence, a Bluenose) it took only a single university course in Cartography to inspired me to pursue that field of study further. Cartography can be both described as a science and an art, and felt like the perfect fit as a career. The next 20 years had me creating cartographic products for several companies across the country; ranging from agriculture, tourism maps. bathymetric charts, and large scale projects for the oil and gas industry.

Now, a new course has been charted to use all that knowledge and skill, as well as new abilities, to follow a career in Graphic Design.
